In His time?

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” (‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ NLT)

41:8-10 – God chose Israel through Abraham because He wanted to, not because the people deserved it (Deuteronomy 7:6-8; 9:4-6.) Although God chose the Israelites to represent Him to the world, they failed to do this. God thus punished them and sent them to captivity. Nowadays, all believers are God’s chosen people, and we all share the responsibility of representing Him to the world. One day, God will bring all His faithful people together. We need not fear because: (1) God is with us (“… for I am with you.”); (2) God has established a firm relationship with us (“… for I am your God.”); and (3) God gives us assurance of His strength, assistance, and victory over sin and Death. Are you aware of all the ways in which God has helped you?(Tyndale Study Bible)

The unbeliever fails to understand this piece of scripture simply because it is only in their darkest hour when they have called on God. What the unbeliever also fails to acknowledge is that He has favor. Is it through the work of God’s or their own works? I know the answer.

The writer clearly explains that all people in the world are God’s chosen people. All we have to do is believe… It’s that simple! Just believe then all the riches of Heaven is available to you. Nobody is exempt to this.

To the unbeliever: are you aware of how God has helped you? Have you ever noticed and acknowledged this? I pose this question to myself too.

I am only now beginning to comprehend how blessed I have been throughout my entire life, even prior to my Salvation. The work He did in me is starting to reflect. So I give thanks and all the Glory to God. I personally believe this is only the beginning of huge things to come. It will be revealed to me in His time.

You see, nothing happens by accident.
