Be with God

“As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should!” (‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭7‬ NLT)

We are drowning in a sea of sexual images and sinful attractions. Everywhere we look we find temptation to fill our minds with thoughts of sexual relationships that God wouldn’t approve. The writer asked a question that troubles us all: How do we stay pure in a contaminating environment? We cannot do this on our own but must have counsel and strength more dynamic than the tempting influences around us. Where can we find that strength and wisdom? By reading God’s Word and doing what it says.(Tyndale Study Bible)

I am sure we all had celebrations last evening. Did you think of the people less fortunate than ourselves? People with problems and dilemmas. Wanting commit suicide. There so many people out in the world that need help and love. We all have a responsibility to touch and love somebody.

As 2015 is upon us we should all be asking ourselves what we can do for others.

It starts, however, with us being pure. We need stay in the Word. Let that be your goal for the rest of your life.

Last night I watching people having fun. Just as the writer says, it is all the images around us that detract us from being pure. I need help and I am sure we all do. We can’t do it alone. We have God and His Word to rely on.

“Lord, I pray that you be and guide me through all these temptation. Give me the conviction to help myself and then to help others. May my behavior show your Love and gratitude. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.”
