All things are possible

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 ESV)

Can we really do everything? The power we receive in union with Christ is sufficient to do his will and to face the challenges that arise from our commitment to doing it. He does not grant us superhuman ability to accomplish anything we can imagine without regard to his interests. As we contend for the faith, we will face troubles, pressures, and trials. As they come, ask Christ to strengthen you.

As an, unbeliever ones reads scripture this way and one thinks: “Ag ja, right. Really? What dream world do they life in?” The Bible is alive, and from day-to-day it teaches us and, if we abide, impacts us.

As with most things in life, we are to read and take it in context. God will not give me superhuman strength. What he is going to do, however, is give us supernatural courage to spread the Gospel and thus to reach out to others, because we are reaching them for His cause.

Do not for one moment think you won’t be faced with challenges in daily life. It makes me think of Pastor At Boshoff (who founded a Church in the small town of Ladybrand) which then birthed CRC Bloemfontein when he was 30. The CRC motto is “One Church, Many Locations”. CRC has established itself as growing, vibrant establishment. I challenge you to have a look at the website Now I ask you: where did this young 30-year-old At get the courage to tackle these challenges?

At will very quickly tell you – he walked by faith and realized that with God all things are possible. God gives you the courage to tackle these immense tasks.  You need courage to tackle a projects like this.

CRC Pretoria

CRC touches thousands of people country and worldwide and is really awesome to be part of such a movement.

Now read the scripture again: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 ESV)

Does it make sense now? To me it does. Trust in God and you will receive the strength and courage to tackle anything.

“Lord, give me the courage to tackle projects and people for you. I thank you for establishments like CRC. In Jesus name.  Amen. “
