What can we do?

Posted: March 12, 2015 in Inspiration

I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? (‭Psalms‬ ‭56‬:‭4‬ NLT)

David stated, “What can mere mortals do to me?” How much harm can people do to us? They can inflict pain, suffering, and death. But no person can rob us of our souls or our future beyond this life. How much harm can we do to ourselves? The worst thing we can do is to reject God and lose our eternal future. Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul” (Matthew 10:28). Instead, we should fear God, who controls this life and the next.

I have been criticized for preaching here. I would just like to say again that it’s God speaking through me. What’s more is that I am actually speaking and self talking myself.

These Biblical principles I struggle with as well. I am not perfect, just human like the rest of us.

What I won’t stop doing is sharing my experiences. And those that criticize most probably need these teachings most.

Just take time and read this scripture again. I am so proud to have God in my life. It makes me untouchable by other humans. Just think about it? We always worry about what other people might think. The important thing is what Gods thinks. With God on our side we are unstoppable.

Think about that promise again. If we Reject it we are in danger of losing eternal life. Is there a choice?

The Bible says as believers we are called to tell people of the Good news of the Gospel. We can’t leave people to make a choice if they don’t know the correct way. Don’t let your friend be endangered of losing eternal life, tell him and her about Jesus, spread the Word.

So don’t worry about other people focus on God.

“Lord I thank you for your promise. Thank you for eternal life. Give me the courage and wisdom to spread Your word. In Jesus name I pray. Amen”
