Represent him, we are chosen.

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” (‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ NLT)

People often base their self-concept on their accomplishments. But our relationship with Christ is far more important than our jobs, successes, wealth, or knowledge. We have been chosen by God as his very own, and we have been called to represent him to others. Remember that your value comes from being one of God’s children, not from what you can achieve. You have worth because of what God does, not because of what you do.

We are all God’s chosen people! Just like the scripture says, we are all great because we are God’s people. We are all royal priests and priestesses and God’s own possession. So I ask: why do people struggle with self-confidence? We are chosen so walk and act with pride. Yes, we are all different, yet we don’t need to lack confidence for we are God’s chosen ones.

Added to this, it is also because we are God’s chosen people and because we represent Him. What an honor… So daily, and in all we do, we represent God. So how can you not do your best every day and with every opportunity? Show the world Who you represent.

What’s more, because we are God’s chosen, we don’t have to worry about things of the world. We can put all our trust in God. Our value and rewards don’t come daily through worldly things, but from being God’s own representatives.

Just like we are the chosen, He provides the light in all our daily challenges.

He is our light.

” Lord I pray may I be in Your way. May I do everything to honor You. In  Jesus name I pray. Amen”
