God is always present

No one is holy like the LORD! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. (‭1 Samuel‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬ NLT)‬‬‬‬‬‬

Hannah praised God for being a Rock—firm, strong, and unchanging. In our fast-paced world, friends come and go, and circumstances change. It’s difficult to find a solid foundation that will not change. Those who devote their lives to achievements, causes, or possessions have as their security that which is finite and changeable. The possessions that we work so hard to obtain will all pass away. But God is always present. Hope in him. He will never fail.

If one reads this scripture in conjunction with yesterday’s scripture, it is more clear that everything in this world can be void and temporary. The only thing that will never leave or forsake you is God.

Just like I said yesterday things in this world might be going well, yet there is still that void. The only way to successfully fill that void is with God. He brings spiritual fulfillment. With God on your side you never be the same again. The peace that comes with accepting Jesus as you savior is permanent and fulfilling. You will become whole when you accept.

I pose this question what in this world is permanent, nothing? Even relationships fail you because of worldly influences. What I have learnt in the last while is, cement yourself in Gods Kingdom and all the remedies to cure the problems off the world will follow. That is God’s promise. Just be patient and obedient.

“Lord I pray you make me Holy. Thank you for being able to rely on You. My rock. In Jesus name. Amen.”
