The amount you give

“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. ”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:38‬ ‭NLT‬‬
A forgiving spirit demonstrates that a person has received God’s forgiveness. Jesus used the picture of measuring grain in a basket to ensure the full amount. If we are critical rather than compassionate, we will also receive criticism. If we treat others generously, graciously, and compassionately, however, these qualities will come back to us in full measure. We are to love others, not judge them. ( Tyndal Study Bible )
The oldest principle in the Bible. “Seed time and harvest.” It started out with Day and night, then hot and cold, and then the seasons. So the world evolved. Some people still think that God had nothing to do with it. Really?

I feel I need to say that the Gospel of Luke, the early Church believed Luke himself wrote it in conjunction with Acts. Luke, a Physician, a brilliant man in his time. Well respected I guys. All my research confirms this. His counterparts respected him.

So listen to what He says in the last part of scripture. ” The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. ” Read the commentary above from the study Bible. These principles work I can assure you, I have experienced it first hand. Tough to maintain.

It’s just like that sportsman what you put in you get out. Do you think Chad Le Closs achieved all the Gold medals by doing nothing?

Everybody I listen to talks about how big God is. That we should be expectant of big things in His Kingdom. My Question if we listen to Luke, are we doing enough to get that result we desire?

” Lord I thank you for your promise. Make me give more of me. In Jesus name. Amen.”
