Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. (Psalms 105:1 NLT)
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (Romans 8:35 NLT)
These verses contain one of the most comforting promises in all Scripture. Believers have always had to face hardships in many forms: persecution, illness, imprisonment, and even death. These sometimes cause them to fear that they have been abandoned by Christ. But Paul exclaims that it is impossible to be separated from Christ. His death for us is proof of his unconquerable love. Nothing can separate us from Christ’s constant presence with us. God tells us how great his love is so that we will feel totally secure in him. If we believe these overwhelming assurances, we will not be afraid.
I sleep at night. How many people in this world struggle with that and need medication to sleep? I sleep because I don’t live a lie. I am saved and that gives me the inner peace.
I heard a interesting thing in church the other day: “depression leads to you bringing left-overs to God.” As with everything else, we should bring depression to God. God says no matter what tests we go through we should leave it at His door. And once you have done that, trust in God to deliver so that you can give the best of you.
Just like the scripture says, nothing can separate us from the love of God. If we believe these overwhelming assurances, we will not be afraid. All we need to do is believe.
God does say that we should be a people of action. We should take the step of faith.
A close family member of ours used to take anti-depressants for years. Then she got saved and since then no anti-depressants . You can’t be separated from His love. All you have to do is accept and believe. God has your number just reach out for him.
Miracles can happen to any of us. This is a very comforting promise. All you have to do is just believe.
“Lord, I thank you for Your love. Your promise and all the Miracles. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.”
