God’s will

“Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life. You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail.” (‭Proverbs‬ ‭19‬:‭20-21NLT)
Those who fear the Lord receive “protection from harm” because of their healthy habits, their beneficial lifestyle, and sometimes through God’s direct intervention. Nevertheless the fear of the Lord does not always protect us from trouble in this life: Evil things still happen to people who love God. This verse is not a universal promise but a general guideline. It describes what would happen if this world were sinless, and what will happen in the new earth, when faithful believers will be under God’s protection forever.(Tyndale  Study Bible)
I was watching a movie the other day and I heard the most profound answer to a question asked: “What do you want from this?” and the answer was, “all I want to do is help.” What if we all go through life with that attitude?
It is amazing to me that this wisdom is around us daily, all we need is an open mind and we won’t even have to look far.
Just like me writing this – God reveals this truth to me. I am so blessed to be utilised by Him. So clearly this message is for somebody; is that you? Open your mind to the wisdom around you. “Stay in the Word.”
Please read this scripture – “So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭31-32 ESV)
We can make all the plans we want, but God’s plan for you and I will eventually prevail.
“Lord, I pray that You will reveal Your wisdom to all. May I act on them. I thank You in Jesus name. Amen.”
