“When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“When people’s lives please the LORD, even their enemies are at peace with them.” NLT
“When God approves of your life,
even your enemies will end up shaking your hand.” MSG
We want other people to like us, and sometimes we will do almost anything to win their approval. But God tells us to put our energy into pleasing him instead. Our effort to be peacemakers will usually make us more attractive to those around us, even our enemies. But even if it doesn’t, we haven’t lost anything. We are still pleasing God, the only one who actually matters.(Tyndal Study Bible)
Inspirational words of this scripture. Two things come to mind this very special day. Ascension day. It is always time to reflect on days like these. One considers your position and blessing; there much to be grateful for. The second thing is all this hatred and strive in our country.
Let me stress I am not condoning the misdoing of current leadership. That is for law and process to deal with. The Bible is very clear on this. The wages of sin is death. All in God’s time. Focus on the scripture, if we please God, even our enemies will shake our hands. Won’t we achieve more with that approach rather than an approach of malice?
Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Jesus died for our sin and gave the world a second chance. All we need to do is accept it. Need I say more. Accept Jesus, change your ways to please God, and the promise is there. All things are possible through Christ Jesus that strengthens me. Even your enemies will love you.
Will this fix our current position?
“Lord I pray to please You. I thank you for giving me a second chance. I pray the world see this revelation. In Jesus name. Amen.”
