Confess or Admit

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ NLT)
Christ has made it possible for us to go directly to God for forgiveness. But confessing our sins to each other still has an important place in the life of the church. (1) If we have sinned against an individual, we must ask him or her to forgive us. (2) If our sin has affected the church, we must confess it publicly. (3) If we need loving support as we struggle with a sin, we should confess that sin to those who can provide that support. (4) If we doubt God’s forgiveness, after confessing a sin to him, we may wish to confess that sin to a fellow believer for assurance of God’s pardon. In Christ’s Kingdom, every believer is a priest to other believers (1 Peter 2:9).(Tyndale Study Bible)
Before I was speaking about learning. The big thing about education is acknowledging that you have a need to learn. Then actually doing something about it. Admitting you are wrong or Confessing your sins so that you can learn from it. Only once you do that can you take the next step. You will never learn if you think you are right all the time. One has to open your mind so that you can absorb knowledge. Just like absorbing this wisdom from scripture.

Currently,  I am faced with a challenge at work. “Customer viewpoint” It is customer satisfaction survey. I was continuously looking for excuses why this is wrong and not working. What the problem with the process and measurement is. Instead of spending time and energy in finding a solution to the challenge. Then implementing the solution and working it. Ya so acknowledge there is a problem then fix it. Confess, rectify and learn. Critical though is to work the solution.

That simple.

“Lord I pray for open minds and hearts so that I can learn from my mistakes. Amen”
