Why look else where

“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” (‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭1-2‬ NLT)
Paul offers a strategy to help us live for God day by day: (1) Imitate Christ’s compassionate, forgiving attitude ; (2) let love guide your life ; (3) let the peace of Christ rule in your heart ; (4) always be thankful ; (5) keep God’s Word in you at all times; (6) live as Jesus Christ’s representative.(Tyndale Study Bible)
The world teaches us to seek peace and pleasure in all the wrong places.
Just as the scripture from yesterday said: knowledge is key. Arm yourself with the correct knowledge and not just the quick fix.
Scientists spend hours trying to find a cure for certain ailments and diseases. All will be revealed in God’s time. Think of stem cell development. They know that a weak hip joint can regenerate from implanting healthy cells, no replacement required. How would you know about this? You keep up to date with things. Read and research in the right places.
That’s why the Bible is such an inspiration to me.
Firstly, you are chosen! Then how to do it is right there. Just read the scripture.
All will be revealed in His time.
“Lord, I pray that You will help me live per Your guide. I am very grateful for having Your Word at hand daily. In Jesus name. Amen”
