God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. (1 John 4:9 NLT)
Jesus is God’s only Son. While all believers are sons and daughters of God, only Jesus lives in this special unique relationship (see John 1:18; 3:16).
Love explains: (1) why God creates—because he loves, he creates people to love; (2) why God cares—because he loves them, he cares for sinful people; (3) why we are free to choose—God wants a loving response from us; (4) why Christ died—his love for us caused him to offer a solution to the problem of sin; and (5) why we receive eternal life—God’s love expresses itself to us forever.(Tyndale Study Bible)
Christmas is an exciting time. What always stands out to me is how the Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. We should celebrate Christmas with the same giving and loving hearts.
What I think is that loving is the key to peace and harmony in this world. If you truly love then, you will always be able to accept and forgive. How do much do I love? To give my son, I am afraid that I’m not so sure I will do that.
The one thing I have learned in my short life is that anything worthwhile takes serious commitment. You have to commit 100%. I know it sounds bizarre, but that’s what it takes.
You see, God was and is 100% committed to us. All we have to do is accept His love and favour, by accepting Jesus as your saviour.
So during this time, make the right choices. It is up to you.
“I wish you a blessed Christmas. May God bless you richly and may all your dreams and prayers be fulfilled. Amen.”
