The full Blessing

Posted: February 14, 2017 in Inspiration
I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. (‭Psalms‬ ‭130‬:‭5‬ NLT)
That God “decided in advance to adopt us” is another way of saying that salvation is God’s work and not our own doing. In his infinite love, God has adopted us as his own children. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, he has brought us into his family and made us heirs along with Jesus (Romans 8:17). In Roman law, adopted children had the same rights and privileges as biological children, even if they had been slaves. Paul uses this term to show how strong our relationship to God is. Have you entered into this loving relationship with God? For more on the meaning of adoption, see Galatians 4:5-7.
God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. (‭Galatians‬ ‭4‬:‭5-7‬ NLT)
You see if we read carefully you will realise that God loves us all. Through the blood of Jesus, we are bought free from the slavery of sin. So everyone has been adopted, we all have the same right as the next person. The writer uses the example that an adopted child has the same rights as a biological child. All we need to do is accept.
We accept this like I said yesterday you have the right to rely on God. Put all your trust and faith in God. Your understanding and wisdom will come from the Bible.
I was listening to the teaching off Pastor Att, our Senior Pastor at  CRC. His message title “The Fullness of the Blessing” I will post the link. He quoted 100 scriptures from the Bible that speak about the Blessing of God.
I am sure you know many people who are very blessed that are not Christian. What those people don’t  understand, they are only partially blessed. Just like I said yesterday they are most probably good people as well. So I ask myself again, why not just accept God and experience the “Full Blessing of God.” We are at the end of the day his adopted children all we need to do is accept. Know the first thing we think off when speaking about blessing is money. That is just one part of it. The Blessing counts for all things in life. It includes all the things we face daily. Marriage, Depression, Health, Inner Peace, Relationships, Homelife, Family, it includes everything you can think off.
So why accept partial blessing. Embraces God and receive the “Full Blessing of God.”
“Lord, I pray for those that don’t understand your full blessing. May their eye be opened. I thank you for all my blessing. In Jesus name. Amen”
