Actions

“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honoured throughout the world.” (‭Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭10‬ NLT)
War and destruction are inevitable, but so is God’s final victory. At that time, all will stand quietly before the all-powerful Lord. How proper, then, for us to be still now, reverently honouring him and his power and majesty. Take time each day to be still and to honour God. (Tyndale Study Bible)
You see, we all have to account for our actions.
Everyday in the workplace we have to account our actions. Not a day goes by where this isn’t the case. Some people have kids and don’t account for them and then start doing bizarre things to reduce their guilt. They even go as far as drugs and seeking wrong teachings. It’s all in the Bible. The Bible is very clear everything we do should to the glory of God. I am amazed at the lack of commitment of people in the workplace. I see it every day. Have you wondered why there are so many broken homes? It’s that lack of commitment and all the outside influences. Success in everything takes single-minded dedication and commitment.
The same applies to our faith. The Scripture above asks us to honour God. Do you take the time and spend it in God’s presence?
One day we will all be accountable. Honor God today and your future is guaranteed. If you do it now and it will make it easier in the future. Honor God and seek his teachings and principles.
“Dear Lord. I honour and thank You for what you have taught me. I pray that You will reach out and touch those in need for Your guidance. In Jesus name. Amen.”
