Nothing can seperate us

No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭39‬ NLT)
This verse contains one of the most comforting promises in all Scripture. Believers have always had to face hardships in many forms: persecution, illness, imprisonment, and even death. These sometimes cause them to fear that they have been abandoned by Christ. But Paul exclaims that it is impossible to be separated from Christ. His death for us is proof of his unconquerable love. Nothing can separate us from Christ’s constant presence with us. God tells us how great his love is so that we will feel totally secure in him. If we believe these overwhelming assurances, we will not be afraid.(Tyndal Study Bible)
I was watching this ten-year-old kid attempting to go down this hill on his little push scooter come skateboard. As he went, I thought this is not going to end badly. Just as I thought at the bottom of the hill things went wrong. It ended up with many scrapes and a bloody nose.
It made me think how many times in life we reach that point, where we have to, take the plunge or go for it. When we look back many of the times, we think we should never have done that. Yes, we do feel some days, just like that little boy, battered and bruised. Although we might not think it God loves us. Just like that little boy, we made a choice and had to live with the consequences. I am not saying that you should not take risk. You should have faith and Trust in God, to guide you through that risk.
Reading this scripture just reminds me. That nothing can separate us from the love of God. No matter how many mistakes we make. What also stands out to me that God loves us so much he gave us a handbook to live our life’s by, the Bible.  What’s more, he loved us so much he gave His Son.
“Lord be with me in my daily challenges. Amen.”
