Pray

He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign LORD will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The LORD has spoken! (‭Isaiah‬ ‭25‬:‭8‬ NLT)
When the Lord speaks, he does what he says. It is comforting to know that God’s plans and activities are closely tied to his word. When we pray according to God’s will (as expressed in the Bible) and claim his promises (as recorded in the Bible), he hears us and answers our requests. (Tyndal Study Bible)
I thought about this piece of Scripture. It was written about 700 years before Christ was born. The more I study the Bible, the more I want to know.  The prophet Isaiah is writing about the coming of Jesus. These events were revealed to him by God. Just like God appeared to many in the Old Testament. All of these things have come true, just like the Bible promises. God promises many things through his Word, the Bible.
Yes, I know it’s difficult to believe or trust these promises.  Remember what I said about Faith last week.
“Faith is a strong belief in God or the doctrines of religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.”
Believers know that prayer is an important part of our life’s. There is not a prayer that I have prayed that has not come true. Yes, some have taken time. Just keep praying and believing. Remember God wants all his promises for you, just believe and pray.
“Lord I pray for obedience. Make people trust their prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen”
