“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
Revelation 21:4 NLT
Have you ever wondered what eternity will be like? The “holy city, the new Jerusalem” (21:2) is described as the place where God will “wipe every tear from their eyes.” Forevermore, there will be no death, sorrow, crying, or pain. What a wonderful truth! No matter what you are going through, it’s not the last word—God has written the final chapter, and it is about true fulfillment and eternal joy for those who love him. We do not know as much as we would like, but it is enough to know that eternity with God will be more wonderful than we could ever imagine. (Life Applications Study Bible)
The most amazing thing to me again is how scriptures come up and fit in with yesterday and the days before. God’s plan works. I was sharing with a friend this scripture and message is obviously directed at someone out there.
John, the author of Revelation, is describing heaven. What we must keep in mind that heaven and its benefits is a choice. All we have do is accept Jesus as our personal saviour. It’s our reward for taking that step of salvation. A gift from God through the blood of Christ. Again all we have to do is accept it.
My thoughts go back to yesterday’s words, training our mental and physical being. Remember the mental training by staying in the word of God will give you rewards in heaven. Our time on earth is sort, but if we make right choices our new life is eternal. The question is for which life do you want to practise the long or the short?
I always refer to this, the peace you receive when you accept God is beyond imagination. You can sleep again, and sleep peacefully.
In Romans 10:17 we read that Faith comes from hearing and hearing comes from the word of God. Considering this and the advice from yesterday, adhering to it, will lead to good living. So much to entice you to make the right choice.
No matter what you are going through today there is reward it might not be what you want right at this moment, but if you keep on making right choices, you will be blessed as describe above and yesterday, abundant life.
“Lord, I pray that I do right things so that I can share in these blessings. Amen.”
