“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” (1 Corinthians 15:58 NLT)
“Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.” (Ecclesiastes 11:-6 NLT)
Paul says that because of the resurrection, nothing we do is useless. Sometimes we become apathetic about serving the Lord because we don’t see any results. Knowing that Christ has won the ultimate victory should affect the way we live right now. Don’t let discouragement over an apparent lack of results keep you from doing the work of the Lord enthusiastically as you have an opportunity. (Tyndale Study Bible)
Please listen to what Paul says, nothing we do is useless. Those words ring true to me. Whatever you tackle, do it to the Glory of God, no matter how difficult it may be.
So a man thinks, so is he. Attitude is important. The way you approach situations and obstacles will determine the result. Just as the scripture says in Ecclesiastes, you never know from which activity you are going to profit, so do everything diligently and with a good heart.
Apart from the aspect of profit, there are you setting a good example. Who are you influencing, through your actions and work ethic?
Do everything with a good heart!
“Lord, I pray that You assist me to do everything to Your glory. I thank you for grace and favour. In Jesus name. Amen”
