Jesus the light

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.”John 1:5 NLT

As I read this my thoughts are, I should remind you why I write these blogs. I am speaking to myself. Because just all I need inspiration as well.

Do you ever feel that your life is too complex for God to understand? It’s two weeks after Xmas. All the excitement of the season is past. Reality has sunk in again. How quickly does it arrive? Finances back to school and all challenges that go with that. Remember, God created the entire universe, and nothing is too difficult for him. God created you; he is alive today, and his love is bigger than any problem you may face. I have asked this before at what stage you call on God? We all forget about God when it’s good and when we face a challenge, then we run back to Him.

“The darkness can never extinguish it” means the darkness of evil never has and never will overcome God’s light. All the challenges we face is nothing because we have God’s light with us. We should be that shining light or example to the rest of our worlds so they can see God’s glory in us. When we follow Jesus, the true Light, we can avoid walking blindly and falling into sin. He lights the path ahead of us so we can see how to live. He removes the darkness of sin from our lives.

What has always worked well for me is to approach everything with a grateful mindset? Rather be grateful for what you have. Count your blessings. One thing comes to mind we take health for granted, eat the wrong foods and never exercise. We have feed and nurture every aspect of or lives.

“Lord, I pray we trust Your light and direction completely. Let us be the light to our worlds. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
