“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”Romans 8:37 NIV
These verses contain one of the most comforting promises in all Scripture. Believers have always had to face hardships in many forms: persecution, illness, imprisonment, and even death. These sometimes cause them to fear that they have been abandoned by Christ. But Paul exclaims that it is impossible to be separated from Christ. His death for us is proof of his unconquerable love. Nothing can separate us from Christ’s constant presence with us. God tells us how great his love is so that we will feel totally secure in him. If we believe these overwhelming assurances, we will not be afraid.(Tyndal Study Bible)
As I am meditating on this word, the world news is playing in the The background. The world is a mess, just listen to the news. Why is there such a passion for reporting on all the wrong?
My next question is or comment is, most people reporting are seeking fame for themselves. Are they doing this reporting to make a difference in the world? Maybe you can explain to me how they are if they are.
My consideration is this. Can you imagine the world, if all these platforms and people are using their position to spread the Good News of God and his Son Jesus? Can you imagine how much better the world would be? It is my passion to spread the Good News to all.
Pay careful consideration to Paul’s word above. “In all things.” God promise’s, all things. Read further this promise is based on Love. God gave us this power because he loved us. God’s instruction to us is, we should love Him with all our heart. Secondly, we should love our neighbours as we love ourselves. Will all this strive in the world exist if we love our neighbours as yourself? I don’t think so. Many will say Terrence: ” that is a pipe dream.” Well, I will say this, everything starts with a first step. You have to start somewhere.
Unbelievers have to accept Jesus as personal saviour. God sent His only Son to die for our sins. Believers have to go out there and spread the Good News of the Gospel. I believe that God’s way is the only way.
Read again. “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
What a promise. In all things, we will be winners with God. Why, because He love us.
“Lord, thank you for loving me and giving me a chance. Amen.”
